Technical Specifications and Customization Options
Body and Structure
Tapered polygonal structural steel, manufactured in slip-joint or flanged sections.
Coating hot-dip galvanizing in accordance with common standards, for long service life in humid and industrial environments.
Base plate, precise welding and machining; custom anchor bolt cage with installation template.
Head and Floodlight Arrangement
A 360° ring head for all-round coverage, or a stadium head for directional light projection.
Floodlight capacity and arrangement are customized according to the lux map and regional wind conditions.
LED floodlights (SMD/COB) with a protection rating of IP65 for the floodlight itself; the tower structure has no IP rating.
Lifting System and Maintenance
A manual or electric lifting system using a winch/electric motor, with durable cables and pulleys and a safe stop in the service position.
Base electrical panel and safety accessories, including switches and protection devices suited to the assembly’s power.
Additional options: internal/external ladder, lightning protection, waterproof junction box and cable grip.
Project Handover Documents
Complete shop drawings for the body, head, base plate and bolt cage, material datasheets, and installation and maintenance instructions.
Note: Diameters, thicknesses, base plate dimensions and anchor bolt quantity depend on reference wind conditions, lighting loads and client requirements and are finalized after project-specific design.
Manufacturing and Quality Control
Engineering and calculations: wind/seismic loads, head and floodlight weight, and allowable deflection
Sheet cutting and forming, polygonal shaping, longitudinal/circumferential welding, and visual/non-destructive testing where required
Trial assembly, axial alignment and dimensional checks
hot-dip galvanizing through degreasing, pickling, fluxing and immersion in molten zinc, with coating thickness checks
Head, winch and accessory assembly, lifting-system testing, and delivery with labeled components
Applications and Suggested Lighting Layouts
Applications: Industrial and logistics sites, urban squares and car parks, terminals, construction sites, docks, training grounds and multipurpose sports areas.
Example Configuration for Scale, Not a Final Specification:
A 15 m tower with a 360° head, 8×200 W LED floodlights, manual lifting and a base electrical panel, suitable for a medium-sized square or car park.
For training grounds: a stadium head with 6–10 medium-power floodlights aimed at the main area.
The final layout is confirmed after lighting design in DIALux/Relux and approval of the project’s lux map.
Pricing, Quotations and Delivery
The price of a 15 m lighting tower depends on effective height, ring/stadium head, floodlight quantity and wattage, manual/electric lifting, regional wind class, thicknesses and materials, electrical accessories and installation.
For an Accurate Quotation Send the sales team the project location, site plan/area dimensions, target lux, electrical power limit and preferred head/lifting system.
Items to Agree: Manufacturing and delivery schedule, supplementary paint over galvanizing if required, transport, installation and lighting tests.
Frequently Asked Questions
What Is the Difference Between a 360° Head and a Stadium Head?
A 360° ring head provides uniform all-round coverage; a stadium head offers directional projection and reduces glare outside the field of view.
Should I Choose Manual or Electric Lifting?
Manual lifting is economical for lower wattages and weights; electric lifting suits dense or heavy arrangements and frequent servicing.
How Is the Foundation Designed?
The foundation and anchor bolt cage are designed according to geotechnical findings and wind loads; we supply a leveling template for accurate installation.
What Is the Warranty?
Manufacturing and galvanizing warranties follow the manufacturer’s standard terms; floodlight warranties follow the LED manufacturer’s datasheet, with the protection rating IP65 applying to the floodlight itself.
