Description
Negin Noor 18 m Lighting Tower
The 18 m lighting tower is a polygonal steel structure for large outdoor areas where broad coverage, effective height and rapid service access matter. The body is made from steel sheet in a tapered polygonal form and, after fabrication, receives full hot-dip galvanizing for lasting resistance to moisture, corrosion and harsh climatic conditions.
Features of the 18 m Lighting Tower
Wide Lighting Coverage with fewer poles across large sites
Full Hot-Dip Galvanizing for high resistance in humid and industrial environments
Project-Specific Head Selection: 360° circular for squares and open areas, or stadium-style for directional light distribution
Fast Servicing and Maintenance with a manual or electric lifting system
Project-Specific Customization based on regional wind speed, design illuminance, head weight and floodlight brand/wattage
Lifting System: Manual or Electric?
Electric Version with Motor and Gearbox – Recommended for 18 m: when floodlight quantities or wattages are higher, or routine servicing is frequent. The head lowers quickly for much faster cleaning and replacement.
Manual Winch Version: for more economical projects with a moderately weighted head. A safe winch raises and lowers the head.
Safety in Both Versions: galvanized steel wire ropes, durable pulleys, safety locks/limit switches and suspension guides are incorporated into the design in accordance with safety requirements.
Head and Lighting Arrangement (LED / MH / HPS)
The lighting arrangement is selected and calculated according to target lux, distribution pattern and head weight limits :
360° Circular Head: for squares, large car parks and open areas needing coverage in multiple directions
Stadium Head: for directional lighting at industrial sites, loading areas, industrial buildings and areas requiring light on one side
Suggested Range for an 18 m Height finalized after lux and wind calculations:
LED (SMD/COB | IP65): approximately 12 to 24 floodlights in common wattages of 150/200/300/400 W
400–1000 W Metal-Halide/Sodium: typically 8 to 16 floodlights depending on head type and weight limits
Note: Rather than selecting quantity solely by request, Floodlight quantity and wattage are determined by lighting calculations and the load capacity of the head/lifting system to achieve the right balance between light, weight and safety.
Suggested Technical Specifications
Overall Height: 18 m, comprising three 6 m sections with overlap joints or flanged joints according to the design
Sections: tapered polygonal sections, with the number of faces suited to diameter and thickness
Structural Material: structural steel with staged quality control
Coating: full hot-dip galvanizing of the structure and connections within common industrial coating thickness ranges
Wire Rope: galvanized steel, with grade and size based on the head’s design load
Inspection Hatch: safe access to terminals and internal equipment
Base Control Panel: required switches and protection devices, including MCB/fuse, RCD, phase protection and a lockable switch, with a durable electrostatic finish
Optional Equipment: lightning protection, aviation warning light, rain cap, suspension guide, timer/photocell/manual switch and monitoring sensors
All precise values, including thicknesses, diameters, wire rope grade and base plate dimensions, are finalized after wind and head-loading calculations in the final technical assessment.
Foundation and Installation
Precast or Cast-in-Place Foundation with standard formwork and an Accurate Anchor Bolt Template
Anchor bolts based on design results for quantity, diameter and arrangement
Provision of a layout plan, anchor bolt template and installation details suited to project conditions
What Affects the Price of an 18 m Lighting Tower?
Structural design, including thicknesses, diameters and number of sections, suited to regional wind conditions and head load
Lifting System Type: electric for faster servicing, or manual more economical
Head type and lighting arrangement: 360° circular or stadium-style, and the required lux level
Floodlight Technology and Quantity: LED (SMD/COB) or MH/HPS, wattage and beam angle
Controls and accessories: electrical panel, photocell/timer, lightning protection, warning light and other accessories
Foundation and installation: precast or cast in place, soil conditions and site installation constraints
Applications
Squares and large car parks, industrial sites and loading areas, ports and docks, airports and terminals, large commercial and office complexes, hospitals, universities and medium to large urban sports facilities.
